CIRCUS PLATFORM
This project is a social innovation initiative made possible thanks to the support of the French Embassy in Venezuela within the framework of the French government’s program to strengthen Venezuelan society.
We are very happy and honored to have been selected in the Piscca program with our foundation Manzanoarte!
The first community we visited was in Cota 905, where more than 60 indigenous Wayuus families live and for 15 days we were sharing with this beautiful community teaching performing arts classes for children and adolescents.
We would like to thank “Las buenotas” the women who organize all the activities and the community in general for welcoming us and supporting us at all times.
The second community we visited were the Piaroas indigenous people in Alto de Carinagua Amazonas.
We spent 20 days with them, sharing, learning their ancestral culture, living their Cosmovision and teaching more than 60 children and adolescents. We want to thank the Shaman Rufino and the whole community for receiving us, the school “La Independencia” and the Ministry of Education of Puerto Ayacucho for their support.

Manzanoarte Convive Con Caracas
Manzanoarte Foundation together with “Caracas Mi Convive” Organization and the Swiss Embassy in Venezuela seek to build a cultural bridge between childrens from the Manzanillo social circus school and the Pinto Salinas community in Caracas.
We are working on the prevention of violence through the performing arts between both groups and also to promote the construction of a social and recreational environment for them. That’s why we created: “Manzanoarte Convive con Caracas”

Caracas Aerial Meeting
Manzanoarte together with Ingrávidos Circus Company from Caracas organized the first aerial meeting a space to share, learn and spread aerial arts in Venezuela.

Manzanoarte wants to value the work of professional circus artists who work within or outside Venezuela to have a reference of circus spaces, schools, artists and companies that are active, promoting and improving working conditions in the professional field of circus arts.
Online circus conference
During these difficult times for all artists, without work and artistic proposals, Manzanoarte created a virtual space to share, debate, reflect on and talk about Venezuelan Circus. It is the first time that there is a virtual space to meet, to talk and to interview different Venezuelan circus artists living inside and outside the country.
It was an excellent memory exercise for many and to know the history of the Venezuelan circus, listen to us, discussing different issues providing ideas and proposals in favor of evolving the Venezuelan circus.
