Manzanoarte Foundation is dedicated to the promotion of performing arts as a tool for social transformation from the fields of recreation, training, knowledge exchange, community cultural development and as a motivational tool for children and young people of the agricultural communities of Manzanillo and Tarmas, La Guaira state, Venezuela.
We teach different techniques such as floor acrobatics, pyramids and hand to hand. Aerial (trapeze, silks, rope, hoop) Juggling, clown.
Children have training in classical dance (ballet), body alignment, contemporary dance, improvisation techniques, hip hop, afro-caribbean dances, as well as yoga and pilates.
We teach values to take care our environment, raise awareness of recycling and use of natural resources in our community. We organise cleaning activities in our community to improve it.
Our school is about performing arts and we want to integrate different arts to empower childrens. Theater is transformation, a communication tool and It is always connected to the circus that we want to teach to children.
Tarmas and Manzanillo are communities with a lot of artisan culture, yearly they celebrate the international craft meeting where we have been invited to participate. The students of manzanillo circus learn crafts and they have plastic arts activities.
Percussion and drums are part of our traditions, Tarmas is a famous community for his drums and all children have a lot of talent to play and dance our traditional dances and in our circus we highlight these values.
